Then, Blake Bennett from Northview joined on in November, as did Justin Wilson from Terre Haute South, to give the program three of a needed five to compete as a team. A month later, he signed Samuel Grimes from Northview and Braxton McIntyre from Terre Haute South to give the program its first five.

As a men's golf program, the Pomeroys have had six USCAA All-Americans and six USCAA National All-Academic Team Members under his direction.

Abe joined SMWC after having spent the past nine years leading the Terre Haute North High School girl’s golf team. He has also spent three years coaching the boy’s team at Terre Haute North. Nasser concluded his career with a record of 60-18 with the girl’s team and a 25-0 record with the boy’s team at Terre Haute North. He has guided the girl’s team to four victories in 18 hole invitationals, four sectional titles, and has sent two girls to state as individuals. He has also guided the boy’s team to state on one occasion.

Before Nasser became the head coach of the Terre Haute North girl’s team, the program had never earned a sectional title, they now have four. His teams have rewritten the record books with the school’s individual 9-hole, and 18- hole records being set under his watch. His teams have also set the school records for the lowest team scores for 9 and 18 holes. Nasser has helped three members of his girl’s team earn All-Conference honors and has led one player to IHSAA Academic All-State and All-State team honors.

Abe received both his B.S and M.S from Indiana State University.

Nasser currently resides in Terre Haute, Indiana, with his wife Emily and two children.
