LOUIS, Mo. - The Saint Mary-of-the-Woods College (SMWC) men's soccer team (4-1-1) traveled to St. Louis, Missouri this afternoon to take on Harris-Stowe State University (0-2-0) in a long defensive battle between both teams. The Pomeroys pulled out the win late in the 2nd half when Freshman phenom Juan Parra (asst. Luis Botello) netted his 5th goal of the season. The Pomeroys would put the match away for good when Juan made a penalty kick in the closing minutes.

    SAINT MARY-OF-THE-WOODS, Ind. - On a beautiful fall afternoon, the Saint Mary-of-the-Woods College (SMWC) men's soccer team (3-1-1) hosted Brescia University in a stout defensive performance by both teams. Brescia University will head back to Owensboro, Kentucky, with one additional win as they defeated the Pomeroys 1-0. This loss marks SMWC's first of the year with six games in the 2020 season.

Spoiling the Eagles season opener, Juan Parra scored two (2) goals for the second time this season (yes, he's a freshman!). SMWC saw great goalie play from Andrew Aceituno who concluded the contest with four (4) saves.

    SAINT MARY-OF-THE-WOODS, Ind. - The Saint Mary-of-the-Woods College (SMWC) men's soccer team (1-0-0) started their season with a victory in defensive fashion in a 2-0 defeat of Oakland City University. Freshman Juan Parra scored both of the team's goals with assists coming from Victor Villagomez and Juan's older brother Jose Parra.
