PARAGOULD, Ark. – The Saint Mary-of-the-Woods College (SMWC) Women's Basketball team (5-13) defeated Cottey College (7-10) last night 89-78 behind stellar games from Delaney Kendall (16 pts.) and Brianna Smith (12 pts., 10 reb.). The Pomeroys finished 1-1 in the Pioneer Classic and move to 5-13 on the season as they set their sights on Lincoln College next Wednesday.

- Delaney Kendall led the team in scoring with 16 points while also adding 2 assists, and 2 steals.
- Brianna Smith pulled down 10 boards for SMWC, with Jayla Rogers adding 8
- The Pomeroys were led in assists by Rogers with 3
- Paetyn Hayes and Kayln Williams are continuing their impressive scoring run, both averaging 11.75 PPG over the past 4 games.
