Women's Soccer Welcomes Kurt Hauger as Assistant Coach

SAINT MARY-OF-THE-WOODS, Ind. - Saint Mary-of-the-Woods College (SMWC) head women's soccer coach Craig Hendry announced the addition of Kurt Hauger to the coaching staff as an assistant coach. Prior to coming to the Woods, Kurt was the girls' soccer coach at Sullivan High School for 20 years. During his tenure in Sullivan, his teams won nine Western Indiana Conference championships and three sectional titles. He currently serves as the Director of Pharmacy at Sullivan County Community Hospital.

Hendry said, "SMWC is fortunate to have Coach Hauger and his experience to help Pomeroys women's soccer. I and excited to have him as a part of the team." Kurt will join head coach Craig Hendry and assistant coach Ron Kiernicki as the Pomeroys look to continue building success with the program. SMWC finished their 2020-21 season with a 3-6 record.

A native of Michigan, Kurt and his wife Susie have three children.
